One of the manliest races you’ll ever be a part of. Shave your time, not your beard as we support MMNT Foundation in raising funds to support charities that are making a difference locally. The primary race beneficiary is the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity at Saint Francis. The Center for Health Equity works as a resource for the community and addresses disparities in health care and provides community engagement, patient education and training, health advocacy, and health screenings, particularly in the areas of prostate cancer and diabetes.
Post-race party includes music, FREE beer (21+ only, valid ID required), FREE food, giveaways, and more for the runners, and you’ll get to show off your awesome beard! Spectators are encouraged to make a minimum $10.00 donation. Ladies and children are more than welcome and encouraged to come out and race with the manliest men in the area.
The Beards & Beers 5k is a Certified USATF Course – #CT15031JHP and a flat and fast course through Manchester and South Windsor, this is a perfect tune-up for the Manchester Road Race

The team at MMNT raised $16,500 at their 3rd Annual Beards and Beers 5K Run in support of the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity at Saint Francis. In addition, the partners of MMNT also grew beards in observance of “No Shave November,” a national event that raises awareness of prostate cancer. Their gift will support community efforts to educate and screen men in our community for this cancer.
